BohoChick Media Productions, LLC, was founded by film and media producer, Kara Ford.
Wearing multiple hats, Kara has produced a variety of short films, a spec commercial, promotional videos, two feature films, including “Life’s Passing Me By,” which won several festival awards, and produced and directed a short film, “Heads or Tails,” which aired in TV markets across the country. Kara also managed the production for “Producing Juliet,” an award-winning web series, and has joined the talented team at Black Noise Media as a Producer for the short film and TV series, “The Trade,” and the BRIC TV series, “Soul Kings.”
A member of New York Women in Film & Television, Kara also hosted screenings and co-hosted the Awards show for the 2015 Reel Sisters of the Diaspora Film Festival & Lecture Series, was a volunteer and advisor to the ActNow Foundation, and was the Arts and Culture Editor, and Acting Editor-in-Chief during a transitional period, for BlackandBrownNews.com (BBN), an award-winning news and information service.
BohoChick Media Productions will undertake new productions, while continuing to work with other talented creators to bring great stories to life!
